Hi there, and welcome! I was born and raised in a small town in Northern California.  I am a registered nurse who enjoys the art of painting.  I am a mom of two precious kiddos, and the wife of a pilot.  My life can get pretty hectic at times when it comes to trying to juggle life in itself; however, I try my hardest to find time to do the things I enjoy, one of which includes painting. 

 

My passion for drawing and painting started at a very young age.  It wasn't until the age of twelve that my love for art and the potential I had, bloomed.  I specialize in realistic wildlife paintings, and you will find that most of my work is contemporary realism and dramatic. I keep the background of my paintings minimal, as I like to focus on the animal and their beauty.  I find that their eyes tell a story that have no words, yet somehow, we can see and understand the whole story through their eyes. 

 

When I first started to explore the art world, I started with pencil drawings, then branched out to using charcoal, pastel, and colored pencil. I now do most of my work in acrylic media.  Even though I am still learning as I go, I am very  passionate about my work. I hope that my paintings speak to you as they do me, and bring you the same sense of peace and joy into your world.
